Last year we interviewed the founder of London Terrariums, Emma Sibley, as a apart of our YMC people series. It seems they’ve only been going from strength to strength since and have now out grown their studio in Bermondsey, resulting in the opening of the first London Terrariums store and workshop. The space holds a full range of their Terrariums and plants along with books, tools, pots from a huge range of creatives. Based just on the edge of New Cross in southeast London, the space will also be a location for the some of their terrarium workshops (which we highly recommend).
We took ourselves straight down there to have a look and accidentally spend our money. The store couldn’t be more perfect. The inspiration for the interior came from a beauty portrait that Emma was fond of. She presented the photo and it’s vibrant colour palette to interior designers, Isabelle and Helen, who went on to create a unique space that just breaths colour, creativity and of course, mother nature.
You can find the store and workshop at: 106a New Cross Road, SE14 5BA and is open Wednesday – Friday 11-7pm, Saturday – Sunday 10-6pm.
