We are looking for an exciting professional to add to our e-commerce team at YMC. Reporting to the e-commerce manager, this is a multi-layered role and we are looking for somebody flexible and enthusiastic for a future in this fast-growing part of our business.
Job Description – E-Commerce Executive
Digital Marketing Assistance
Newsletter content and strategy assistance.
Flow email marketing production.
Database management and segmentation.
Assist the marketing manager with social media posting and copy.
Identify growth opportunities in both email marketing and social media / paid search avenues.
Social media content assistance for both paid and unpaid posts.
Liaising with both the ecommerce manager and marketing manager to plan and carry out weekly / seasonal strategy.
Assisting with optimisation of content for SEO.
Creating content for online campaigns.
Liaise with digital designer for homepage designs.
Ad hoc email marketing and social media reporting to management level.
Customer Service Assistance
Build customer service relationships.
Use online email to create long standing relationships with customers, use upselling and turn refunds into exchanges.
Have particular knowledge of YMC fits and styling.
Improve the current set up; be open to live chat, social media touchpoints.
Manage customer journey from purchase to receipt and post-purchase aftercare.
Collating content, imagery and proof-reading.
Assistance with researching and implementation of key seasonal events.
Organisation of imagery and videos on DropBox.
Flexibility to step in when absences occur.
Online customer service.
To be successful, you will have –
1-2 years of experience in e-commerce.
Commercial acumen – demonstrated experience in driving business KPI’s.
Excellent communication skills including the capacity to converse warmly and effortlessly with customers
Computer literacy encompassing strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
