ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

We have an opportunity available for a full-time Assistant Store Manager at YMC. As Assistant Manager you’ll play a pivotal role supporting our Store Manager. This role acts as a key leader, setting the tone, store standards and delivering excellent customer service.

Role

• Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store
• Supervise, train, and motivate team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service
• Assist in managing staff schedules, attendance, and productivity
• Maintain store standards, visual merchandising, and cleanliness
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with deliveries and stock takes
• Handle customer complaints and queries professionally and promptly
• Drive sales targets and identify improvement opportunities
• Delegate tasks and problem solving
• Take charge of store operations in the absence of the Store Manager

Experience

• Minimum of 1–2 years experience in a senior or management-level role
• A proven background in retail, including experience leading and managing a team
• Stronger leadership skills
• Basic skills with common computer software
