A collaboration between YMC and Beyond Retro, focused on turning clothes of the past into new products and saving used clothing from landfill. The capsule combines Beyond Retro’s mission to create upcycled sustainable garments with YMC’s designs.
A selection of YMC’s most loved shapes – including the Erkin Jacket, Alva Skate Trousers, Mitchum Shirt, Daisy Age Sweatshirt and a Tote Bag – come together to create a unisex capsule wardrobe reimagined in upcycled fabrics. Each piece is made in India, from reclaimed denim, flannel and jersey with unique upcycled patchwork quilt details.
The collection diverts 500kgs of post-consumer material from landfill. Production was powered by solar where the processes save over 87% of water compared to standard production, with an 80% carbon reduction.
